They were mostly OS9 files and my G4 does read OS9 classic files.mostly jpg files and screenshots.but now the are Unix Executable Files and I can't open with anything on my Mac. Even tried on a G5 and it said same thing. Someone told me I need to get these files back on to a G3 in order to read them and then copy to a CD instead of a thumb. To prevent the extra software from installing you need to open up the '.exe' or '.msi' file on your computer. When you do this you will see all the contents within the '.exe' or '.msi' independently accessible.
